When entering the court building

If you have business with the courts, you will need to pass through security. This may consist of metal detectors, body wanding and pat downs. Expect inspection of bags and cases or any personal items you take with you.

What not to bring when entering the building

You are not permitted to bring in firearms, knifes, chemical or electric protection devices. Any item not deemed safe by security at the time of your entry. You may be asked to return items to your car before entering in some cases. Controlled substances, paraphernalia from drug use and Alcohol are not permitted. Pets are not permitted into the building. Food and drinks are not permitted.

Hours of operation

The combined court complex hours of operation is from 7:30am till 5:30pm.

Circuit Court and Clerk of the Court

The Shenandoah County Circuit Court is at Main St and Court St in downtown historic Woodstock.
